Last Thurday of each Month!
Ashdown Friends of the Earth is a non-party political, independent,
democratic local group in East Grinstead, Forest Row and the Ashdown
Forest.
We’re passionate about creating a thriving world for everyone. That means
having a healthy natural environment, a fair economy and a world where
everyone’s needs are met, now and in the future. We work for change through
campaigns, education and awareness raising.
We
are part of the nationwide Friends of the Earth network of over 200 local
groups and work on issues which matter to us locally, nationally and internationally.
If you are interested in finding out more about the group or want to help us
with our campaigns, please do get in touch or come along to our next meeting (on
the last Thursday of every month, except Aug and Dec, at 7.30 pm at the
Brambletye Hotel in Forest Row – see www.ashdownfoe.co.uk for more
information).
There is no obligation to do anything and you can be as active as you want
to be. If you were unable to attend meetings, for example, you are still very
welcome to support our work by becoming an ‘armchair member’ or making a
donation.
